Archiving policy

1. General Provisions

The journal «Economic Strategy and Prospects of Trade and Services Sector Development» ensures the long-term preservation and permanent accessibility of published materials through the creation and maintenance of an electronic archive.

The journal archive contains the full texts of articles, publication metadata, bibliographic descriptions, and other editorial materials, ensuring permanent access to research findings.

2. Electronic Archive of the Journal

All published articles are stored in the electronic archive on the official journal website without any restriction on the period of access. The archive is maintained by the editorial board and ensures open access to materials in accordance with the journal's open access policy.

The archive also contains and maintains publication metadata, including DOIs, ensuring their identification and long-term preservation.

The editorial board ensures regular backup of electronic materials to prevent data loss.

The archive ensures permanent access to materials even in the event of the journal website ceasing to function.

3. Institutional Preservation

To provide an additional level of long-term preservation, scholarly materials may also be stored in the institutional electronic repositories of the journal's founder and other scholarly information systems in accordance with applicable legislation and editorial policy.

4. Self-Archiving by Authors

Authors are entitled to deposit the published version of their article (publisher's version) in their own institutional or subject repositories, on personal academic profiles, in open databases, and on other information resources, with the mandatory inclusion of the full bibliographic description of the article and a link to the official publication version.

5. Preservation of Archive Integrity

The editorial board ensures the integrity of the journal's electronic archive. In the event of corrections or the retraction of an article, the relevant information is published in the prescribed manner, while the original publication remains accessible with an appropriate status label.

6. Compliance with International Standards

The archiving policy of the journal is directed at ensuring the long-term accessibility of scholarly materials and is consistent with the principles of open science and international recommendations on the preservation of scholarly publications.

The editorial board strives to ensure the long-term preservation of materials in accordance with international digital preservation practices (in particular, LOCKSS/CLOCKSS or comparable systems).

The archiving policy is implemented in conjunction with the open access policy and the retraction policy of the journal.
